What We Believe
The Church of Philadelphia was established under Hang On Ministry, Inc. nine years ago. Many people wonder where our name came from. Well, the name of our ministry came from the third chapter of the book of Revelation. We are a church that stands on the Word of God and promote a Christian lifestyle, rather than just a religion.
We Believe...
- WE Believe the Bible is to be our daily guide to living for Jesus Christ.
- WE Believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus according to Mark 28:19, Romans 6:4, & Acts 2:38.
- WE Believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4.
- WE Believe speaking in tongues is the outward demonstration of the physical evidence of the Holy Ghost.
- WE Believe in the full operation of the gifts through the Holy Ghost. I Cor 12:8-11
- WE Believe God has commanded us to go into the highways & hedges to tell of His goodness to the land of the living. Luke 14:23
Our Core Values
- Prayer - Pray without ceasing. (1 Thes 5:17)
- Worship - Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Matt. 4:10)
- Praise - Let every thing that hath breathe praise the Lord. (Psalms 150:6)
- Discipleship - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you...(Matt. 28:19-20)
- Evangelism - But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
