Our Church Vision

Teach, Train, and Import in 2010

The Church of Philadelphia was established under Hang On Ministry, Inc. nine years ago. Many people wonder where our name came from. Well, the name of our ministry came from the third chapter of the book of Revelation. We are a church that stands on the Word of God and promote a holistic Christian lifestyle, rather than just a religion.

We strive to be a ministry that brings souls into the Kingdom of God through teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to be a place where people of all colors, creeds, and nationalities can come and encounter a life-changing relationship with Jesus the Living Savior, exalt God through worship, be equip to do the work of the ministry, encourage one another through love and fellowship, and establish strong families and communities. This ministry is designed to be a holistic serving both the natural and spiritual man. The vision that God has given to Church of Philadelphia is build in the frame work of a 5 point mandate, which is to:

  • Win the Lost at any Cost (Matthew 25:36)
  • Build Strong Families (Joshua 24:15)
  • Equip the Saints for the Work of Ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13)
  • Teach the People of God Sound Economic Principle (Deuteronomy 8:18)
  • Heal the Broken Hearted (Acts 10:38)

We Will...
  • build an edifice unto God that will allow the lost to come into the fellowship of the righteous.
  • build a school that offers early childhood training and alternatives to secular intermediate education as well as educate and reinforce the family.
  • build a multipurpose facility that offers a refuge for our youth, young adults, and elders to come enjoy through prayer, athletics, games, computer labs, fellowship & movies.
  • build a facility to train up and equip the Saints for the work of the ministry; that will go out into the highways and hedges to tell of the goodness of the Lord in the Land of the living on a local, national, and international level.
  • build a facility that teaches and demonstrates sound economic principles through our school or Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneur Training.
  • build a church that will reach out to the broken hearted to promote healing through sound Godly counsel while providing ministry support systems.

Our vision is based upon our mission to build a Bible- centered, Spirit- filled, Community based church, while raising up Kingdom- minded disciples and leaders.
