Our Teen-Based Programs and Groups
The teen ministries of Church of Philadelphia are designed to promote the critical need for and development of a bible-based forum for today’s generation. In a day when superficiality is the norm, we strive to "keep it real" with our teens by providing a place where they can experience truth and authenticity. Our strategic goal is to be an advocate for today’s teens, ensuring that their voice is heard and that their gifts are valued.
Our teen department exists to help young people strengthen their foundation in Christ and His word and help develop them to become faithful servants of God. Because of insecurities in so many areas, teenagers often feel as though they cannot be an important part of the body of Christ. However, through Sunday worship, Wednesday night bible studies, monthly activities and yearly trips, the teenagers are taught that each one of them are important to the cause of Christ. Our teachings and guidance are developed through the inspiration of the word of God and is taught in a way where teenagers are able to gain the wisdom they need to make the right decisions and walk down the right path.
We value our teenagers, just as Christ values the church and our programs are always focused on growing and developing our teens to be not what the world wants but what God has purposed.
